Since 2012

With a traditional fine art background and an inspiring education at the China Academy of Art, I set my sights on becoming a Matte Painter for film and TV production in 2012. After earning my master's degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I dedicated four years to full-time work in Los Angeles, primarily in commercials. In 2019, my passion for filmmaking led me to Canada, where I seamlessly joined a major film production pipeline. A decade into my journey as a digital matte painter, my enthusiasm remains as strong as day one.
